BOOK TITLE: HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE(HARRY POTTER 1)

AUTHOR: J K ROWLING

GENRE: CHILDREN FICTION, MAGIC,SUSPENSE

STARS: *****

The truth is I’ve never read Harry Potter books in my school life. But better late than never. I enjoyed the first chapter and as I entered inside the book got me tightly gripped. How amazingly she described the Hogwarts castle, each and every characters, the diagon ally, the Quiditch match. I loved the character Harry(of course), Hagrid, Dumbledore, Ron, Fred and George. The book left me awestruck. When you are always mistreated by your uncle and aunt, you never get a bit of love and care instead you are treated as a servant and then suddenly you get to know that you are a wizard, the reason why strange things were happening around you. That was the beginning of the story and  the beginning of Harry’s adventurous journey. He came to know that his parents were not dead due to a car accident they were killed by he who must not be named and finally he was not any ordinary boy.

As he went to Hogwarts he made friends and learned so many new things that he never imagined, people treated him like he was never treated before. Then further happenings occurred and Harry had to fight his fear and defeated it.
